The project of development and implementation of the automation and SCADA systems in Águas do Tejo Atlantico (former Águas do Oeste), a Águas de Portugal group company, ensured the:

• Supply of 43 PLC (UTRs);
• SCADA system in Hot-Standby;
• CFTV system and access control;
• Architectural project and electrical installation in the dispatch center;
• Supply and installation of equipment related to electrical energy, pressure and level;
• Fire detection and intrusion systems.

At the communications level, a multi-service network was installed based on optical fibers, UHF radio modems, GPRS and ADSL infrastructure.

The integration of these systems covered 10 WWTP and 49 lift stations, in a project developed by Actemium.
